The team works in their garden office amongst their cats and the king fishers of
Nawala, where good humour and herbally infused teas create the perfect setting
for that elusive, creative solution.
Rachel hails from Normandy (France), and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Armed with University degrees in Economics, Psychology, Education and a masters degree in Training for Trainers, she worked as a volunteer in Korea and Indonesia before making her way to Sri Lanka in the wake of the tsunami, to work for a French organisation.
Within a month of her arrival, she met Mahen and eventually married him and joined MCN as a general manager at the end of her voluntary mission in 2008.
Rachel is an efficient, dynamic, and a committed team-player, eternally obsessed with getting it right. She’s always on the ball, and keeps MCN running like a well oiled machine.
On top of it, she’s also a certified yoga teacher since 2013, who has led classes for kids and adults, and is personally interested in training further. If time permits, she would like to concentrate on providing “enhancement life” classes for teens and corporate training.
